ADVENT RETREAT: An Examen of God's Coming Presence in Your Life

Faith Connections, Jesuits Volunteers Canada, and St. Peter’s Young Adult Ministry invite young adults (18-39 years) for an afternoon retreat for Advent.
 
Advent is a time of eager anticipation and longing for God's presence in our lives. While on retreat we will reflect with other young adults about God's presence within your own life, being mindful of your personal spiritual journey while moving forward.

THEOLOGY ON TAP: Being Faithful in a Secular Society

Justice Peter Lauwers will speak as a Catholic, who happens to be a judge, about the challenges we face and the importance of cultivating not only the virtues but also the disposition needed to be authentic witnesses to our faith. The Working Centre in Kitchener is a community development organization that has roots in the strong tradition of Catholic Social Teachings and a radical rethinking of the importance of thoughtful personal action.
