Celebrating 17 Years at Studio on the Hill

On May 26, 2013, over 90 people visited Studio on the Hill. With Sister Helen Kluke, Ministry Director and teacher, the guests celebrated 17 years of her pottery classes at 967 O'Connor Drive as well as her 50 years as a Sister of St. Joseph.

Sewing Hope with Art at Mustard Seed

With food bank use at record highs and 10-year waiting lists for affordable housing, many Ontarians are falling through the cracks of Ontario’s social safety net — social programs  that exist to prevent poverty and help those in precarious situations. When a group of knitters discussed these problems, someone joked that they should knit a social safety net themselves, and a beautiful idea was borne.

Over 80 people attended the Fontbonne Ministries Volunteer Appreciation Brunch on Sunday, April 28, 2013. Volunteers, staff and Sisters gathered at Mustard Seed at 791 Queen Street East.

Hike and Prayer: Wind, Water, Earth & Fire

Young adults (18 - 39) are invited to join us for a mid-day hike and prayer at Humber Bay Park!
 
We will be meeting at the East entrance of Humber Bay Park located at Park Lawn Rd & Lake Shore Blvd W. You will find us in the bus turn-around located on the south-west corner.
 
Parking available & TTC accessible.
 
Please pack a lunch, water, and weather-appropriate gear (we will be gathering rain or shine).
