Your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you that you have from God and you are not your own, Faith Connections program director Vanessa Nicholas-Schmidt told participants at the Keeping the Temple Healthy event April 14. “Glorify God in body and spirit,” said Nicholas-Schmidt, quoting Corinthians. “All things are lawful for me, but not all things are beneficial. All things are lawful for me, but I will not be dominated by anything."

Vanessa inducted into Alpha Sigma Nu

It is a testament to the ways that the Sisters of St. Joseph, have encouraged me and formed me in their Ignatian Charism

On Feb. 15, 2012, Vanessa Nicholas-Schmidt, Program Director Faith Connections, was one of the participants inducted into Alpha Sigma Nu, the International Jesuit Honour Society. The ceremony took place at Toronto’s Regis College in the chapel. Mass commenced at 1:30 p.m. and was followed by the ceremony at 2:30 p.m. after which all celebrated at a reception.
