In mid-March, CSJ Associates held their annual “Assembly Day” — a workshop to increase awareness of current social issues and apply what is learned in daily life, into our families and into the different communities to which we belong.
On April 18, 2015, the Sisters of St. Joseph of Toronto gathered at St. Joseph's Residence, 2 O'Connor Drive, with their Associates for the annual day of retreat and the Commitment Ceremony. The lay Associates live their faith by embracing the charism of the Sisters of St. Joseph of Toronto to reach out in love to the dear neighbour.
Forty-three CSJ Associates gathered for an Assembly Day at 2 O’Connor Drive on Saturday, February 21, 2015. The guest speaker was Father Peter McKenna. Under his able guidance, the Associates reflected on the theme, Celebrating What is Right With the World.
After a video presentation, Father Peter spoke about how perception controls our reality and how our vision transforms the way we look at the world.
In honour of the Year of Consecrated Life, we have created this video, which features images of Sisters of St. Joseph of Toronto engaged in ministry. In the background you can hear the song commissioned for this special year: “Wake the World with Dawning Joy.”
