Job Posting: Cook, Part-Time, Seasonal

We are seeking a cook for our Orillia location. The successful candidate will prepare and cook full course meals for serving in a dining hall setting.

Responsibilities include preparing individual meals based on dietary needs when required and assisting with grocery shopping. Applicants should have knowledge and experience specific to preparing meals for groups of up to 30.

Hours: Minimum of 24 hours per week with alternating weekends

Date Required: Late April 2019

Probabtion: 337.5 hours

Qualifications

  • 3 - 5 years of related cooking experience, supported by relevant post-secondary studies.
  • Baking experience would be considered an asset.
  • Ability to work well with others, possessing efficient, clean and well organized work habits.
  • Must possess thorough understanding of kitchen equipment, sanitation codes and WHMIS.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to remain calm and polite at all times.
  • Safe Food Handling Certificate required.
  • Able to work with minimum supervision and perform other duties related to food services.
