Job Posting: Dietary Aide (Casual)

The dietary aide will assist with food preparation, deliver and serve meals, wash and clean equipment, including dishes, pots and pans, and put away stock items as required.


  • Secondary school graduate with good communication skills.
  • Ability to work well with others, possessing efficient, clean and well-organized work habits.
  • Must be able to perform moderate lifting including the pushing of food carts.
  • Must be knowledgeable about kitchen equipment, sanitation codes and WHMIS.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to remain calm and polite at all times.
  • Safe Food Handling Certificate required.
  • Able to work with minimum supervision on multi-time shifts, Monday to Sunday.

Hours: Casual

Probation: 337.5 hours
