Toronto’s 180th birthday: 180 people who made a difference

Toronto Star, March 6, 2014 — To commemorate Toronto’s 180th birthday on March 6, the Star has assembled 180 profiles of memorable people, including city and community builders, innovators, politicians, cultural leaders, artists, entertainers and athletes, business leaders and colourful personalities who left their mark on the city over the course of its history.
 
Mother Delphine Fontbonne, founder of the Sisters of St. Joseph of Toronto, is the first to be listed under Community Builders.
