Caroline, Faith Connections Volunteer
Caroline shares her story of volunteering with Faith Connections.
I found out about Faith Connections, Fontbonne Ministries' young adult ministry, while attending a Theology on Tap event back in 2009. At the time, I was a member of the former Toronto Catholic Singles Association. I was the Young Adult Coordinator and I co-planned and co-hosted a couple of Singles Mixers with Vanessa Nicholas-Schmidt, the Faith Connections Program Director. In September 2010, I officially became a Faith Connections volunteer.

Nancy, Morrow Park Volunteer Nancy, Morrow Park Volunteer

Nancy shares her story of volunteering at Morrow Park.

Three years ago, I was looking for a new volunteer job. A lady told me I should contact the Sister's Morrow Park motherhouse, saying the Sisters might need somebody. I called them and I was asked, "What can you do?" I mentioned that I could lead a sing-song really well, and that I knew pretty much every old song in the book since my family and I were very musical. And I got the position!

Rose, a Village Mosaic Volunteer
Rose shares her volunteer experiences at Village Mosaic.
I have been a volunteer at Village Mosaic for almost three years. A long time friend who works with the Sisters of St. Joseph told me about how Village Mosaic would be a place on the Lake Shore where seniors could gather and socialize. I decided to look into it.
Sally, a Fontbonne Volunteer Sally, a volunteer

Sally shares her story of volunteering with Fontbonne Ministries.

I've had many different jobs that always dealt with people. I was a Girl Guide leader, a tour guide, a counsellor. I've volunteered all my life.
