Ecumenical Good Friday Walk for Justice

Marginalized Youth, Idle No More and the sanctuary movement to protect vulnerable refugee claimants will be the focus of ‘stations’ for the Ecumenical Good Friday Walk for Justice March 29. The annual event begins at 2 p.m. at the Church of the Holy Trinity, beside the Eaton Centre.

May Day: Solidarity City Rally and March

On May 1, 2013, the Sanctuary Network will join the May Day march in solidarity with refugees. Together with Christian Peacemaker Teams and other friends, we will meet at 5 p.m. at the labyrinth outside the Church of the Holy Trinity, Trinity Square (just east of Bay St, north of Queen) and together we will walk to join the larger march, which leaves Nathan Philips Square shortly after 5:30 p.m.

Directions in Aboriginal Ministry Conference (July 4 - 7)

This conference from the Building Bridges Project is held from Thursday, July 4 to Sunday, July, 7 in cooperation with Newman Theological College and Corpus Christi/St. Mark’s, UBC. It includes the Rose Prince Annual Pilgrimage in addition to gathering with Aboriginal Faith Leaders, Elders Bishops and Clergy and presenters for the Directions in Aboriginal Ministry program and more.
