Toward Healing and Reconciliation

The Aboriginal Issues Working Group invites you to participate in three powerful evenings of learning. We will welcome three survivors of Residential Schools who will share not only their experience, but the necessary back-ground to deepen our understanding of the issues that we hope will lead to a place of healing and reconciliation.
 
Each evening begins at 6 p.m. with a shared meal (for a suggested donation of $10) and the presentation begins at 7 p.m.

First Nations Historical Issues and Residential Schools Indoctrination presented by Mike Cheena.
 
Thursday, October 3
Aboriginal Education and Modern Urban Native Issues presented by Kim McDougall.
 
Thursday, October 10
Residential Schools - History, Stories and the Legal Saga presented by Murray Crowe.
