How we are connected

We are an independent community of Sisters of St. Joseph, but we are linked to other communities through our Canadian Federation — www.csjfederation.ca.

In 1966, six congregations formed the Canadian Federation:

Value of our Federation

This Federation helps members speak with a common voice and work together for a common mission to support each other's efforts. Members exchange information, work on committees together and assist each other in their goal of unity.

Our common goal

There are over 800 Sisters of St. Joseph in the Canadian Federation, who with the over 10,000 Sisters of St. Joseph worldwide strive to meet the common goal of "love of God and love of neighbour."
