Betty Lou Knox CSJ, pictured at left with her painting "Carried by Mystery," displayed her work at the 8th Annual Fall Festival of Arts at Rosedale Presbyterian Church from Oct. 22 - 24. She described her experience there as "A piece of heaven in the beauty of the art and the manner in which it was displayed and the atmosphere of welcome and celebration."

Sister Betty Lou discovered she was an artist during a sabbatical program in Creation Centred Spirituality. She is an artist as well as a photographer and combined the two media in a book she published last year called Greening with Hildegard of Bingen: Mystic for the 21st century.

Sister Betty Lou will be giving a presentation on Hildegard of Bingen at Scarboro Foreign Missions, on Dec. 1 at 7:00 p.m. as part of their Advent Series.
