On June 29 in Morrow Park’s chapel, the Sisters of St. Joseph of Toronto installed their new Leadership Team: Sister Margaret Myatt, Congregational Leader and her council: Sisters Annette Lacroix, Mary Mettler, Thérèse Meunier and Theresa Rodgers. Every four years, Sisters gather at meetings called “Chapter,” vote on their new leadership team and set the agenda for their years in office. The service ended with Sr. Margaret missioning the Sisters to their ministries with the words: “I mission you, in the spirit of Chapter 2006, to continue to serve, in simplicity and compassion, our dear neighbour, including our wounded earth.” A reception followed the service.
