"I am ready"

On September 8 in the Chapel at Morrow Park, Divinia Pedro was received into the novitiate of the Sisters of St. Joseph of Toronto. In the company of all her communities and all who supported her over the last few years, Divinia stated that she was ready to join. The General Superior, Sister Margaret, welcomed her into the congregation on behalf of all the Sisters. Divinia received the constitutions and the congregational symbol, which she wore on a chain around her neck.

Sister Divinia then joined all the Sisters in renewing their commitment to "move always toward profound love of God and love of neighbour without distinction." Finally, Sister Margaret addressed all the Sisters:

"In response to God's call and the needs of the world,
I mission you to live our charism of unifying love
With openness to risk and to trust all to God,
That together we may continue to live
Vibrantly now and into the future."
