The Seeds of L'Arche

Arriving at L’Arche Daybreak in 1972, Sister Sue Mosteller, a Sister of St. Joseph, became the second Community Leader, and later the first International Leader after Jean Vanier. About religious vows

“We recognize that there is someone greater than ourselves. We   come together with others who share in that call. This is the world of community.” The year of Consecrated Life began on November 21, 2014, and the Toronto Association of Vocation Directors held a Taize Prayer celebration at Our Lady of Lourdes Parish. Brother Denis Claivaz FPM spoke to all assembled about the vows. Click here for his talk. 

Sing With Us

VISION Vocation Guide and the National Religious Vocation Conference commissioned world-renowned composer Steven Warner to write a song in honor of the Year of Consecrated Life. The result is Wake the World with Dawning Joy. To hear it, and sing along, click here
